As it happens the Home and Garden Show will be on at the Stampede grounds Thursday-Sunday. I went in the fall and there were lots of interior designers there... one of them I spoke to does initial recommendations for a flat rate of $200.00 or you can get them to do everything, pick it and find the trades to actually renovate for another fee.

Anyways, I highly recommend going to the show, I think I'm going to try and drag DH there on Thursday evening.

I used Tracy Wharton when we moved in to our house for a floor plan/furniture placement service. She was excellent and gave us a lot of really great ideas. I had interviewed a few others but didn't really get great vibes. She however was amazing and listed to us both. When my sister and her husband were doing their basement, she used Tracy as well to pick carpet, tile, paint and finishes and had a really good experience. I recommend her highly.
