Worst Dressed Wedding Guests - Picture Post

  1 2 3
I ran into some posts about guest attire in the "etiquette" and "fashion" sections, but they aren't getting the hits this "misc" forum could wrangle. And honestly, I'm dying to see more!

Anyways, Post pics of your worst dressed guests!
I hope Rosedale posts hers here!

Here's mine.

I WISH I could post a few photos on here! I have seen it all from jeans and t-shirts and runners at a formal wedding to (and this is a personal favourite of mine) a Tina Turner look-alike. She had the look down pat! From the huge, teased hair and loud make-up to the skin-tight gold mini dress. Ugh. It was one of those moments where you want to look away but just can't!

Sometimes I wonder if people realize the eighties are over?

i think the strangest thing I saw at a wedding was the groom striking up a big fat doob in the parking lot during the reception. To tie in the clothing - he had taken his dress shirt off, but still wore his suspenders :|

I can't seem to find a pic of him at the moment, but DH's uncle (who my friends and I have nicknamed "Uncle Trackpants") showed up in a pink polo shirt, with a white sport coat and navy blue with white striped ....wait for it... trackpants! it's not the worst out there, and the pants alone wouldn't have been much of an issue but the outfit as a whole was rather special.
so special that he wore it to both of our receptions (in different cities) and the rehersal dinner

Okay, the one on the right was supposed to be a bridesmaid, but was MIA until I saw her AT the wedding! She was there with her 3 year old son. I wish I had a shot from the back, but let's just say there was a slit (in more than one way!)

Misty since you asked so nicely I will post it again!

When my FBIL got married about a year and a half ago his new wife asked his sister (my FSIL) to be in the wedding party. The BM dresses that were ordered never came in so the bride asked that they all go and purchase black dresses and this is what FSIL wore...

FBIL and his new wife spent the better part of their honeymoon fighting over this.

I have a few...but for right now, this is the only one I can find. This is the only view of the outfit that I have...but I HATED it. I was sooo red, and so hideous! It was a bright red skirt with a white tank-top and a black sweater overtop. And of course, this b!tch would't sit anywhere else but the front. Where my Parents were supposed to sit!! ARG!!!!
**I still have a few bitter feeling towards her**

I'll post the other dress later.

Ok I don't mean to start another debate but why is it not ok to have a general pet peeve about WB but it's ok to make outright fun of people's clothing and post their pictures (albeit headless) on the internet? The hypocracy on this forum is what's becoming more and more of a pet peeve of mine

It's okay to do both. But there are people who disagree with both, and such is the nature of the world. I have pet peeves and I post pictures of my family members on the internet. I'm not a hypocrite, I'm an equal-opprotunity offender.

oooooooooooooooooh yes.
A one piece jumper.
complete with cameltoe and matching skinny pleather belt.

I didn't see the outfit until I was getting ready that day... I walked out of the bedroom, looked like a deer caught in headlights and turned back around.

Thank goodness there were only 12 of us there.
BUT WAIT..
Want to see what the Marriage Commissioner wore?!

One thing does have to be said though....
It was an "island" wedding - an island full of one time hippies.

I don't have a photo, wish I did, but at my best friend's wedding 6 years ago, I was the MOH. The wedding was a casual outdoor affair. The groom wore a pair of khaki pants and a linen shirt. His best man had asked what he should wear. Sam the groom said, it is casual, wear what you want. BIG MISTAKE. He shows up to the wedding unshaven(miles from any store) in flip flops, DIRTY khaki shorts and hawaiian print top. Laura my girlfriend said, "you can get changed in here when I am done." The guy says, "I don't have any other clothes, you said it was casual." Laura then went to see Sam and said "Do something." He luckily had an extra pair of khakis to lend the dude, but he couldn't do anything about the hawaiian shirt, flip flops and scruffy beard. Thing is, his wife who is an OB couldn't come because she was delivering a baby, otherwise I am sure he wouldn't have shown up like that!!! Oh, plus his kid was dressed exactly like him and the kid in his uncombed hair insisted on walking in with him and holding his hand the whole time during the ceremony!!!!!

Ok, I found a pic of uncle trackpants... but my photographer must've done an amazing job, because he doesn't look half bad in the pro pics... i think she lightened the pink of his shirt, and darkened the navy blue of the pants... now he sort of blends with the rest of the outfits (DH and I). Also, compared to Carol-Ann's Mil, and the woman in the half see thru dress...and the custom suit from the easter egg factory, he's pretty tastefully dressed

Thadda girl!!! My heart sank when I saw this post - before that I was literally excited to quote RBM's & cowgirlsissy's posts (honestly, what went through my head was "no way, no way - these girls are making this up, can't be, can't be - WHO WOULD DO THAT????"). Then I see the guy in the pink Easter suit There's just too much to quote.

The reason why I don't get upset when people here call me mean is because sometimes the funniest things in life ARE making sport of other people. THERE'S NO DENYING THIS!!! THIS SH!T IS FUNNY!!

You should be given karma points or a Tim Horton's coffee card or something for starting a thread like this. I'd like to take this opportunity to encourage you to do more.

I have one of my dad wearing track pants... let me see if I could "track" it down... ahahha

I'm so pathetic hehehehe

__________

Ok.... so this is at my wedding... and I guess I really can't be surprised by his "attire" because in this shot there is a picture of trailer in the background Oh well - my wedding was super casual but everyone dressed at least business casual...except for my dad. In his small defense he was retaining a lot of water (he's like 150lbs lighter than in this picture) and so pants really didn't fit him but my mom did go and buy him dress pants for my wedding that he decided he wasn't going to wear.... Oh and the girl is my sister isn't she a cutie pie?! I took her shopping for that outfit and she wore the "dress" just for me

So here we are!

and just for proof that it was at my actual wedding - here is another photo with my other guests (all family) and you can see my dad in the back with the umbrella and the white shirt and my sister in front of him.

I was angry the next day after the wedding but then I decided I was just glad he was alive and able to be at my wedding (he's got heart disease and is in heart failure right now - but apparently "good heart failure")

OMG this is one of the funniest posts I've seen on here!!

I think that the winners so far for me are a tie between the onesie/jumpsuit-MIL, and the scandalous thigh-revealing BM!

RBM - I cannot believe that wannabe bride!! That takes a lot of nerve..wow. The thing I'm also wondering is why she decided to go with a BLACK bra of all things?? Does she only own black bras?

And at the easter-egg senior! Awww.. he's cute though.

I just spent 15 minutes scanning through all my wedding photos, and I couldn't find one single badly dressed person! I have to say, everyone looked outstanding.. dang it! Sorry to dissapoint gals! I think the "worst" at my wedding was probably my cousin who wore a (very short) little black dress accompanied by some of those tall fuzzy winter fashion boots. But even she looked great because she's one of those girls who can put on any outfit and look like she's a supermodel!

Okay, who's next?
