Good thing, there's no way I'd have time to make all those bags AND keep up with these boards.

A few of you have Brown Damask fabric bags.
I'm just wondering what is the exact color of the drawings (the flowers)?
They look like old rose in this photo:

Yet look silver in this photo:

I won't bother Katie with the question, since I'm not yet ready to purchase another bag (heck, I haven't even received the first!), but am just slowly preparing for next time . If any of you actually have received their bag in this fabric, please let me know!

I can't answer for certain, but I'd be inclined to say that it's white!

I'm having an impossible time choosing a fabric, I'm starting to go blind looking at all of them

I'd 100% say a light pink and brown.

I hope not, I'm not a pink person, and I've already ordered it. It looked more like a cream to me.

that's my baby!!!

i would say it's a milk chocolate brown, with a cappocino beige flower --- NO PINK to it. it's all brownish tones. LOVE LOVE LOVE by bag.

The color is a cream/tan color. Not pink! So you are safe!

Oh my gawd. I'm the most indecisive person I know.
I've been trying to decide between the Gracie, Stevie & Abbey...how to decide???
I haven't even looked at the fabric yet...by the time I decide....there will probably be new choices.

Thanks ladies!

I got another question :
Anybody order this fabric?:
Caramel Swirl:

It's home decor, but says: This fabric has a slightly soft faux suede feel to it. It is not stiff and will need interfacing.
Does that mean that the Add-On of ''Batting for Thickness'' must be purchased? And by extension, this fabric can not be used with the Gracie (since that Add-on is not recommended for the Gracie)?

I believe she's just letting you know that she will have to add interfacing to the material because it is lightweight. Some people don't like the stiffness that interfacing can add to a material so she is just letting you know in case you don't like interfaced products. It's more so a heads-up and shouldn't cost you anything.

Melinda, that second fabric you linked to says it's only for lunch bags, so I'd definitely go with gothic window.

Sher, I'd say the Gracie, Stevie or Abbey for your mom. I know my mom likes the same size bags as I do..and she's 56.
I don't know about your mom, but I know my mom prefers black prints.

I think I'm going to go with the Gracie & a Kirby. But now I'm stuck on whether I should get matching fabric...or each in a different fabric. decisions! aack!

So I've decided to go with the Cleo... Gothic window fabric for the pockets on a solid black bag with blue lining.

I also totally jumped on honeysher's bandwagon and am going to get a coffee sleeve in urban rhapsody.

Oh. Good. Lord.

I knew I should have stayed out of this thread! Now here I am, buying another bag!

I *THINK* I have narrowed it down to the large Stevie bag, with a single, messenger style strap

In the Zen Meadow fabric, with hot pink lining

Arrghh! There are too many fabrics to choose from!!!!

I have been coveting her diaper bags for the last week and have decided to take the plunge. Are there any ladies willing to share action shots of the Stevie,Simone or Abby? I really can't tell the "largeness"...I am leaning toward the Stevie , as for fabric it will probably take me another week to decide. Thanks!!!!

How about coordinating fabrics? I didn't get a wristlet but if I do, I'll get one that matches, but in a different pattern. (Assuming I can find one of course!)

Or what about the reverse? Ie. the interior fabric of the bag on the outside of the wristlet, and the pattern inside.

Like Diva said, part of the fun is the customization. I'm hesitant to give one as a gift for that reason.

I could see doing a lunch bag and a gift certificate, though.

I ordered my bag today! I got the large abby in this fabric:

With a bright red lining. She's SO awesome, I made a few very special requests and she was so nice to accomodate me! My bag is going to have 5 larger pen type pockets on the inside (in addition to the larger pockets on the other side). About 1.5 inches wide instead of the standard pen holder for quick access to things like infant tylenol and lip gloss and stuff!

I'm also getting a diaper clutch in the same fabrics but she's adding another pocket to the back of it so I can carry my change pad in there too.

SO excited!!! Now I just have to play the waiting game

That's what I was thinking. Instead, I'd probably make a ''gift certificate'' for a bag of their choice (customized to their liking) as a gift.

I think I've decided. I was going to get a Stevie bag, but now I think I'm going to get a Cleo bag and a Kirby wristlet.

Now I need to decide on colors.

I wonder if the Kirby fits inside a Gracie or Cleo... Heck I wonder if the Kirby is big enough for a wallet, keys and perhaps a cell phone.

I can't order a matching Kirby for my first Gracie because the material is out of stock. But perhaps I'll do the coordinating bags for my next order.

DH is a TAD discouraged with moi.

OMG....now I'm thinking I need one too....thats a great idea about the wider pen pockets to hold lipstick & things like baby tylenol!! You're a genius Melinda.

I ordered one for my mum and one for my sister for their birthdays coming up. I agree that the customization is the exciting part, so I let them pick out what they wanted. In our family we give a lot of "Ok, now you have to forget about this," type gifts, so it wasn't a big deal. Plus my sister's birthday isn't for a couple months, so she might actually forget about it. I'm so excited!!

Now, to resist buying one for myself. I don't really need another bag...

OK, I've narrowed down one thing I think I want to order! I'll wait 'till I decide on a purse before hand though (probably wait until I see Futo's purse!!).

Custom Yoga Mat Bag:

In this Funky Swirls Fabric:

Possibly with the 'handle' part in Hot Pink, and just one pocket. What do we think?
