Spin - Yummy scavenger hunt

The doughnut thread got me thinking...

There have always been places around the Ottawa area where I will make a special trip for their special goodies, or if I'm in the area I will make sure to stop in.

my list includes:

St. Albert cheese factory for Cheese curds and whey butter
Perth or Balderson for Balderson Ice cream cones
Thyme & Again for Pate Maison
The Scone Witch for scones

I used to have more:
North Gower cheese factory for their cheese curds
Merrickville for cheese sticks (they used old cheddar yummm)
Balderson for 7yr old cheddar

But those have either closed or stopped selling that product.

Clearly I need new ones, my list is pathetically small.

The doughnut thread gave me:

Stittsville for Richmond Bakery raspberry filled donuts.

What are your scavenger hunt items? What special food treats will you make the drive for?

The Downsview Market food court is amazing. "Food Court" doesn't really do it justice, but I don't know what else to call it.
There are so many different kinds of food, it's really affordable, and the owners are friendly and open to suggesting dishes for you to try. Sometimes DH and I will go just for a smoothie from one of the booths, where they sweeten it with fresh sugar cane that they press/crush right there. (If you happen to go, I recommend the soursop/pineapple combo!)

For burgers, it's a toss-up between Yellow Griffin in Bloor West Village (website) and Burger Priest (website)

And my favourite ice cream/dessert place is Dutch Dreams, at Bathurst/St.Clair (website)

And if you're in/near London ON, the best cupcakes EVER are at Ra.zzle Dazz.le Cupcakes (website)

 Cambridge, Ontario
My biggest one is in Cambridge (across town from my current location, but within walking distance of my new apartment)

Reid's Candy & Nut Shop - most likely the best chocolate and trail mix i've ever had.

We also regularily go to the St Jacobs Farmers Market specifically for lemonade, dog bones, flowers and fruit

St Jacobs also has Quilted Heirlooms - their strawberry jam is freakin amazing!
