 WB Confessional!

  1 2 3 4 5  ...
My old boss used to say "Confession: Good for the soul. Bad for the reputation." wink

So since I have about 75 posts left until I *finally* hit addict status, I thought I'd help out my reputation (and my post count!) with some random items of confession...

Wanna join me in (not really) baring your soul to the WB/interwebs? thumbsup

Here goes!

I have a Costco-sized bottle of Neutrogena (sp?) shampoo in my shower. I can't remember how long I've had it for... probably at least 3-4 years.

Not sure if that's creepy or not.

I used it today. It smelled lovely still. wink

I'm a vegetarian... have been for over 10 years now.

Sometimes I really really really want a big fat plate of ribs. Or wings.

I own pretty much every Norwex cleaning product that exists (thanks, Mom2Monkies!) but that hasn't increased the frequency of my house cleaning.

At all.

I still hate it. With a passion.

I ran out of dog food 2 nights ago.

Today for breakfast I fed my dog 2 scrambled eggs and 3 new potatoes.

Even though we're going through the forever-long process of adopting, and have done all this IF junk... sometimes the idea of being a parent still scares the carp out of me.

And I feel super guilty about that.

Like maybe if I feel this way we shouldn't keep pursuing adoption... like maybe it's the universe's way of telling me we should be DINKs (or a FOT) and just retire young and be awesome aunt/uncle & godparents.

It's nearly 1:30pm. I feel like junk today (still) and I just had a shower.

I'm still wearing a bathrobe... I should do something productive today, but I kind of don't feel like it.

Most of my friends have super tidy houses and I don't invite them over often because ours is more "lived" in. Okay really more messy.

If I could find a dog walker that doesn't quit, I would far rather pay someone to walk our pup than to take him myself.

I am inherently lazy.

I think it would be super cool to be a notary public.

But that's a lot more schooling and work, and (as noted above) I'm pretty sure I'm too lazy for that.

Sometimes I don't tell people about my spirituality/faith because I get sick of the presumptions and judgments about me.

I feel at the same time a) guilty, and b) tired. Sometimes I don't want to have to always be proving that "we're not all like THAT."

We finished the bulk of our major reno last May.

Since that time I still haven't finished painting the hallways, re-ordered those last 2 cupboard doors that are still missing, or seriously done anything.

I think we got reno-ed out.

Now it's just embarrassing. tongueold

I'm still holding a bit of a grudge against my FIL for the fact that instead of leaving MIL when he should've, he waited 5 years too long and had an affair.

I'm p!ssed that he told us he wouldn't come to our wedding if we didn't invite his mistress - now wife.

It's been 7 years now, and I'm still unimpressed.

Ummm, it's 4:40pm and I still have not showered today. I have gone to The Brick and picked out furniture, gone to pick out carpet, gone out for breakfast and to Food basics and had a nap and a little nookie.........all without having showered first. We are going out for dinner with friends tonight and I do plan on showering for that tongueold I am usually not gross, but its Saturday and I hate it when Saturday is like a weekday with strict time constraints on everything I do. Eff that.

I am making my husband agree to getting different furniture in our livingroom even though it is only 4 months old.

I am sitting here instead of cleaning which our house really really needs today.

This might sound silly but I can't stand my in-law's dog. Everyone loves her and thinks she's so cute and charming but I just don't like her. I'm an animal lover by nature but there's just something about this dog that rubs me the wrong way. I don't even know what it is about her that I dislike exactly.

I went clothes shopping today.

It was my first completely solo clothes shopping trip.

It was also the first shopping trip in which I have purchased a pair of jeans.

I spent the last 6 months training for a fitness competition, that took place last weekend, and I've used that as an excuse to completely derail this week. Case in point, I'm currently eating my way through a Costco sized bag of mini eggs for dinner.

The thought of my parents dying actually scares me so much that I start to shake.

I despise filing and as a result, have filled a re-useable grocery bag full of stuff to be filed, rather than just do it as the stuff came in. Now, it's such a huge job that just looking at it makes me tired, so I put it in the office closet.

I don't like most of the children my kids play with... I think I just don't like most children that I didn't give birth to!

Some of you haven't showered today?? I sometimes go days without a shower because it just feels like too much work sometimes!

My house is also messier than it could be, but with 3 kids I can't keep up!

I snuck out of the house this afternoon while DD was playing quietly so that I wouldn't have to bring her with me and deal with buckling/unbuckling the carseat. She could have cared less when I came home and that kind of made me sad.
