I have always wanted to see him live, he wasn't in Vegas the last time I went...

Tickets will likely be impossible to get, but I'm going to try anyways. GARTH BROOKS! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I was already plotting my strategy this morning!

Any word on ticket prices? His Vegas show runs $250/seat...ugh. I'm expecting about $145 and up (before ticketmaster jackwagon add-ons).

I know, me too!! I was hoping when we hit Vegas this September I might be able to get tickets, but at $500 a pair, man...I'd rather to go race a stock car!

I'll have to make sure I'm signed up with all the related media stuff to try and get a pre-sale password.

How much are tickets? they must be REALLY expensive. totally surprised! He doesn't do much outside of Vegas except for charity concerts lately.

I think now that his daughters are almost full grown, he may "un-retire" and come back in a few years. Although I don't think his shows will be quite as crazy as they used to be, he is probably getting a bit too old to be swinging from the rafters anymore smile

I would love to see him and his wife trishia yearwood do a tour together.

I am dying to go ... I regret not being able to see hiw show the last time he was here for a measely $25... this one will probably break the bank on me, but I.MUST.GO!!!!!


Ive heard rumor mills around $300... We'll find out on Tues..:)

We had floor seats at the Saddledome back in... 95? 96? Whenever it was. It was an awesome show!!! But I'm not rich enough to pay to go again. I'm sure it'd be good, and I'd love to win tickets, but not going to pay for it.

I saw Garth Brooks in Wpg. when he was doing his "Fresh Horses" tour. (LONG time ago) BEST CONCERT EVER!!! We were 5th row on the floor, it was amazing! I was lucky to get in at all... the first show sold out so fast, then they announced a 2nd show which also sold out quickly JUST as my dad got in the doors to buy tickets they announced a 3rd show! Luckily the 3rd is the one that we got tickets for!

See? I didn't really care about Kelly Ripa. Not even a little bit. But I have loved Garth Brooks and his music for *litRally* forever.

I was expecting ticket prices to be on par with the Vegas show so $62 is a pleasant surprise. Of course this means that tickets will be even more impossible to get.

I run my first 5k race this Saturday morning... I start at 10am... Yeah let me tell you how wonderful I am feeling about this. Grrrrrrrr!!!!

Im so hoping my friends will have luck and be able to get their hands on a pair of tickets for me... I am desperate to see this show!


Julie - Hes always had a "rule" about ticket pricing.. he wanted to always make sure his tickets were affordable for all, so Im not surprised. I actually think it might have been one of the negotiating factors with the Stampede Board to bring him here. I heard the $300 pricing rumors and I had a feeling hey couldnt be true.. thankfully not... Not to hope I have some luck with friends so I can finally see him:)
