Nope. We have better things to do in the bedroom than watch TV...

Yes, but it's hooked up to a DVD player and not cable. We watch TV shows in there but it's rare. I usually read before sleeping and DH literally lays his head on the pillow and passes out in a minute or so.

Yes and I have a love hate relationship with it.

We didn't have one in our room for a long time and it was nice (after having one in our room before that) but DH put it back. So on nights DH is out it's nice to have it on by myself.

We do and I hate it. DH absolutely "can't" fall asleep without it.

We do, but it doesn't work. I used to watch peasant vision (the free channels) on it when I feel asleep as DH stays up later than I do, but when everything went digital I didn't bother to get the digital converter box or whatever it is. So no channels frown. I miss it. It wasn't a factor in our relationship as we never went to bed at the same time anyway.

No, but we always watch movies or shows on our laptop in our room so it's kinda like having a t.v. I think if we had a t.v in our bedroom we'd never leave it!

We do. Before we changed to a flat screen, it was just somewhere to put the other TV. Now if DH doesn't like what's on and it's almost bed time, he'll just go upstairs. I hate that as I did not want to be one of those couples who sat in different rooms watching TV all evening ( I know a couple). So it's maybe on for 1 hour some days. We both need it off to sleep and completely dark.

Nope. No TV in the bedroom... I don't want one in there.

DH used to have one in his room in his single days... and it was totally not unheard of (read: was extremely common) for him to be up 'til 3 or 4 in the morning watching TV or playing video games. If I don't sleep, I don't function... so that trumps his desire for a TV in the bedroom tongueold He has adjusted.

I think there's a difference between occasionally watching different shows, but still making a point of spending time together and never ever being in the same room to watch TV (and spending little time together).

I don't know if that's what proudnerd was getting at, but I know a few couples that never watch TV together... even if they're watching the same show, they're in different rooms. That confuses me, personally.

Most of the time, if one of us is watching something the other isn't particularly interested in, there's nothing else on anyway, so the other person just putzes around on a laptop... but we don't watch much TV these days anyway. *shrug*

Before we were married I read an article that said couples who have TV's in their bedroom have signficantly less sex that couples who do not have TV's in their bedroom.

We do, but we NEVER use it. Basically its only there if either of us is stuck in bed sick. I also used it alot when DS was newborn to watch TV during late night feedings smile
