I am reading the Hunger games books, actually on the third book.
I have not seen the movie, or any clips from it yet.

This morning I was fighting with my hair as I was trying to paint, so I decided to braid it. Instead of a normal french braid, I started from the right and ended up at the left.

So....., I'm pinning away on Pinterst just moments ago, and what should I see.....


Apparently this is a classic "Katniss" braid according to Pinterest pinners.
I have never ever braided my hair like this before, nor have I ever seen pics of a braid like this (the fishtail braid is the closest).

Carry on, I'll just be dorky over here, maybe I can blame the paint fumes or the weather or something

I taught myself how to french braid when I was in junior high when I used to do synchronized swimming. I actually find it easier to braid my own hair than other people's hair.
lol my hair was just driving me nuts yesterday and decided to try something new.
I will have to google photos from the movie to see her hair.
maybe my subconscious was really the one braiding my hair with all the "hunger games" reading
