Nope... in the same section you'd have the option to select one of the other styles for the month (same time-frame, too)
My 'default' is "American Beauty", but in my 2nd month I prefered the selection in "It Girl" so I switched for that month... easy peasy! Next month it reverted to my default, but I could have switched again.
And the past 2 months, they've offered the option of adding on up to 2 items from other style boxes (I added another polish to my May box for an extra $4.99)

I'm sad... my May box arrived, but the magnet was broken, one of the polish brushes it total crap, and my 'add on' polish was sent seperately?!?! I sent them an emailt about the first 2 issues... I guess I'll find out tonight or tomorrow if I have to send one about a crap brush in the add-on, too

Aww that sucks.. definitely email them.. It seems a few people have mentioned crap brushes in the 'other site' and it seems julep has been very quick to respond and send out new one..
Havent heard any issues on a magnet though...

Yup... emailed them about the brush & the magnet... got a response that they'll send new brushes, but it might take a bit... and they've put in an order to the shipping department to send me a new magnet, too!

I'd guess it's a matter of QA suffered by them rushing to launch with Sephora... at a guess. Pure speculation. But at least they're recognizing it's a problem and are willing to send new brushes... that's a definite plus, I think.

Does everybody get the same Mystery Box? I just got mine and there was no magnet.
I really like most of the colors, especially the blue one (Marisa). I checked the brushes and they seem to be intact.

yeah i got the same box raynn.. i am new to julep so there was no dups for me..loved the colors...i got maya, leah, demi, and natalie....would have loved a big box..but still good bang for my buck

I got my mystery box.... 5 polishes (Alyson, Vanessa, Hayden, Parker & Sheryl), a top coat, a cuticle oil and nail wraps...so, $100+ ! Not bad for $20

Yeah... 3 of them are in the orange range, one kind of caf au lait, and Vanessa is a "glitter in a clear base" one that's nice for a feature nail or to brighten up a super-dark colour a bit.
I actually have a second Mystery Box that should be arriving today or tomorrow

Cinco de Mayo box: 1 oz Glycolic hand scrub, crystal nail file, Four polishes (Vanessa - glitter, Alyson - almond, Leah - green, Mandy - coral pink).
All told - nail colour 4x14=$48,
hand scrub - half of $22 set = $11,
crystal nail file - $6.

I did buy 2 again... and they were both pretty impressive.
Maybe because I don't order them together? I order 1 with every intention of only ordering one... and then about 3 days later (after 3 days of DH asking me if I'm really only going to order one *laugh*) if they still have them available, I order a second one?
Now I just need to figure out a decent way of storing/organizing them so I can tuck them out of the way, but still see them all at a glance...

I got both of mine today . 4 polished a file and hand scrub. Got some duplicate and I'm guessing others did too. I have a Mandy, Leah and Hayden (bc one wasn't enough?!) up for grabs. If anyone is interested let me know

If I had a way to get it here, I'd be inclined to take Hayden off your hands. I really have to see this colour IRL. I just got the other two.
I think what they do for the mystery boxes is just reach in to boxes and grab whatever. It sure seems that way.

The best I can describe Hayden is... like Parker, but a little lighter in tone (peach instead of tangerine) and brighter (like... neon. Seriously. Although I gave one of mine to a girl in town and next time I saw her she was wearing it and it didn't look quite as neon as it did when I tested it at home)... I'd say it's one of those colours that would look amazing with a tan or an olive complexion...

I got my first one on Friday... a 'small' box... 2 colours I already had (Taylor & Sofia
), the topcoat, the lip balm from the June boxes, an emery board, and 1 colour that's remarkably similar to another one I've got (Kelly... it seems REALLLLLLY similar to Jennifer).
Box #2 should be arriving today or tomorrow.
