I too was looking for unique centerpieces when first planning and I came across a piece that I absolutely loved and had to recreate for my own reception...so thanks to whoever it was that inspired the idea! Here is my version..

Here are mine. I didn't have an inspiration pic but I just love the look of martini glasses. I have a bunch on top of my cupboards in my kitchen so I took one down and came up with this!

Here is ours. BUT instead of sand there will be cream rocks. and it will be full of water with a floating candel.

I know mine isn't really original, but it's DYI and very cheap. Got the vase at the dollar store and the rocks at Ikea, both cost 1$ each.. the most expensive is the flowers, which I am paying 2.40$ per stem.

Here's mine. The tables were 12 feet long so we had multiple centrepieces...the look was 'rolling waves of grasses and flowers.

I haven't seen anyone else use Chinese lanterns, but here is what we came up with:

Because the candle was in the center, the bulbs glowed when the lights were down.

I've decided to go with a new centerpiece. Again not unique but I just wanted to share them. =)

Bump!

This post could use some updating and I am sure the newer girls would like to look through this :-) Since there isn't an actual "Centerpiece" section like bouquets and hair

I had two types of centrepieces, but no one seemed to take a photo of the other one. It was the tall eiffel tower vases with a couple stems of Stargazer lilies and bear grass.

The other half of them looked like the picture below. The reason I did two is because my aunt is severely allergic to scents and made me promise not to just use the lilies as my centrepieces so that the scent wouldn't overpower her.
