Hey ladies! Sorry don't check in often, but I am always following the thread! I rarely get a chance to post. This week was pretty stressful with some issues with my son, but I didn't turn to food for relieve the stress. YAY me! AND on Tuesday we had a seminar at work during lunch hour, and my friend and I who are both doing WW brought out OWN lunch instead of having pizza. YAY for non-scale victories!

So WI number 3 was today and I am down 1.6 pounds...1.8 lbs from start. BUT I am down like 5 pounds since Easter Monday b/c I had myself weighed that day at Herbal One (went in for a consult before getting my brain back and sigining up for WW again) and they weighed me in at 157.9. I still haven't decided if I want my goal weight to be 140 or 145...I can't even remember the last time I saw 140!!

I think I'm losing weight a lot slower this time around b/c I am not as active as I would like to be. I really want to start running again and going back to hot yoga, but honestly, it is REALLY hard to find the time. And plus, even if I do find the time 2-3x a week, I find it really hard to maintain that kind of activity level and then once I stop, I gain weight again. I'm just not the type of person who can make exercising a regular part of my day. I'm just not!

Anyways, good luck to everyone this week!!

Mamma its not just about the activity. 80% of weight loss / gain is food. Remember that! I say start with 10% loss and then decide on your goal.

Not much going on here.. 2 more weeks of mat leave and Im at work! booooo..... What does everyone pack for lunches for work, snacks? ideas?? help!

So.where is everyone?

I'm down .6 this week. Yay!! and the countdown is on to going back to work. I feel like there is so much to do to get our kitchen all cleaned/set up, the house is a mess.. and I have no idea when I'll get to work out. That makes me very sad... I think if I am up early to work out that the kids will wake up- I'll see how things go I guess!

way to go Teacup!

What I"ve learnt through this kitchen reno:
you can bbq an entire squash and it tastes SO GOOD!!

slow cooked oats are the best. Way better than stove top.

I would cook 2 or 3 cups oats and add 1 cup extra of water, put it on low for about 10 hours and it was so good!

Foil, oil and frozen veggies on the grill. Super good!!

Cooked ham- buy a whole ham, slice it up, freeze sections- and cook as needed. You can also BBQ it like a steak, makes awsome sandwiches- omelets, etc.

Turkey breast roasts at costco- got a few of these around Easter, although they seem to have them lately too- slow cook it with poultry seasoning, makes a great meal, stir fry, sandwiches, etc.

That's about all I can remember.. lol..

now our kitchen is pretty well stocked and I am super happy to start baking/cooking again!

I keep waiting for a gain is that dumb. I've had a loss for over 2 months now??? and belive it or not the middle number is about to change. I have a weight chart that I keep on the fridge and there was a huge jump in weight loss (its for 90 days this chart) now I need a new one. I'm feeling super motivated since i've had so much success as of late.

I have NO idea what i"m doing diffrent. I kept alot of trackers, but, still no idea. I guess I have found a 'groove' that works. Im still at 28 points so I can still go down some (which I dread. Dont we all).

And next week I'm back at work and dreading the rush in the evening and the food table at work. tongueold that just means good planning and planning to get out and walk whenver I can. LOL

Kelly how are you doing ?

Also, I'm looking to buy the 2012 starter kit to do on my own if anyone has one to sell (booklets, calculator...).
