Ooooo......my very own thread. smile

OK, so when I started training for the show in October 2011, these were my starting pictures. So I'm 5'4", and here I'm at about 165 pounds. Pardon the stupid expressions on my face:

And then the day before the show, at 135 pounds:

And then, after you cut water for the actual show, at 128 pounds. I actually took a picture of the scale because I didn't believe I weighed under 130 pounds. LOL

And my favorite shot, with a friend who also competed at the show. She lost over 50 pounds smile

If you want to look at more from a photoshoot we did, click on this link:

BWB Photoshoot

Unfortunately, I didn't place top 5, so I'm not actually sure where I ended up in my height class, but it was a ton of fun (lots of work, but still fun - for the most part), and I would totally do it again. smile

Thanks for asking. bye

K, I mean this in the best of ways....

1) Nice stripper shoes wink I normally don't find them hot but the combo of muscles and the shoes = fiya!

2) Boobs. Do you find that the more you train, the smaller they get? I've almost lost my boobs, lol. I don't really care all that much just that strapless tops/dresses flatten me way out.

And another question: what's your training program like? Trainer designed? I had a strength coach that I was looking forward to working with and she friggin' up and moved. So now its still just me--and the rest of the bros at the gym, lol.

Ummmm.....well, my boobs were sad empty sacks of skin. tongueold I've filled back out a bit now, but they were smallish to start and they are even smaller now. I've learned to accept it.

And yes, I work with a trainer. It's the only way I can stick with a program like this, since I tried for years on my own and got nowhere. Plus, it's nice to have someone to answer questions, who's watching over you and has your interests and goals in mind. I actually really like my trainer, quite a bit. He's pretty awesome. smile

I also forgot to highlight in case others don't pick up on the date....your before pics were taken in OCTOBER 2011. Your after pics I guess were very recent? That's quite the transformation in just SIX months. Actually, now just typing that it seems a bit extra-ordinary!!! How'd you get so ripped in such short a time?

LOL. Yes, those "after" shots were taken a few weeks ago..

And as for how I did it? I worked my tail off (literally and figuratively). I ate very clean, drank tons of water, two cardio sessions a day, weight training 5 times a week. I mean, it's not overly realistic for a long term, and certainly not for someone who isn't looking to step on stage, but that's what I was training for.

Very cool! I prefer your before competition shots to the ones where you cut out the water though lol (I know that's for competition).

So what are you doing now for eating/exercise? Keeping it up?

Dear Neuvodia:

I had no idea until I read it in another thread.

What can I say? Well done! Bravo! Amazing! You look phenomenal and should be so proud.

I love how at 165 lbs I can see your ab muscles still showing!

Really, just well done!

If I missed anyone else who had a question, I'm sorry!!

This thread has me in tears, you guys are so awesome. Thanks so much for your comments, they mean a lot. gonnacry

And for those wondering at my meal plan, I'm happy to share. But keep in mind you would want to tweak it for more of an everyday eating plan!

Breakfast
8 egg whites
1/2 cup oats (raw measure)
1 Tbsp ground flax seed

Snack
1 cup Greek yogurt (skim or 1%)
1 cup blueberries or raspberries

Lunch
150g turkey or chicken breast
1/2 cup yams
120g broccoli/cauliflower/carrot mix

Snack
1 can of tuna (water-packed, rinsed under hot water)
1 apple

Supper
120g beef (any round or loin cut) or salmon
1/2 cup brown rice
1200g green veggies (I preferred broccoli)

Snack
3/4 cup cottage cheese (low-fat)
15 almonds or walnut halves

As I got closer to the show, the Greek yogurt and berries turned into 90g of chicken and 90 of veggies, and the cottage cheese became a protein shake.

I was drinking about 5-7 litres of water a day, as well.

ETA: Condiments were freebies, anything I wanted (BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, etc) as long as it was used within reason.

And if you're curious, I was also on a heavy rotation of vitamins!! I took the following, twice a day - once with breakfast, and once with supper, plus a ZMA supplement before bed.

Multi-vit
400iu Vit E
500mg Vit C
B complex
Omega 3-6-9
Vitamin D
Calcium
