Morning peeps!

E, so exciting about the big move! Do you have a lot left to do for packing and stuff?

J, glad to hear A is sleeping a least a few hours in a row. Hope you are getting in lots of naps!

bye to everyone else.

We did a lot of the packing on the long weekend that would suck to leave to the last min, so not too much I don't think!

This weekend we are doing a dump run and a metal pick up, so our garage will be cleaned out and then we can put tarps down and move stuff into it, to see what is left to do!

Clothes pairing down begins, and bathroom products tonight/thursday day.

Hows Mom-to-be and baby orange?

I hate packing and moving, but I do enjoy unpacking and figuring out where everything is going to go in the new place!

We did a bunch of organizing on the weekend too, starting to clear out the office to make room for baby smile We got rid of a whole bunch of paper, which is great.

I am feeling good and baby orange too - I have my 16 week check up on Friday and then will probably get a referral for the anatomy ultrasound, so excited about that!

Any thoughts on blue or pink?

As for your thread on baby stuff.. you seriously don't need much at all. We had next to nothing for the first 2 months and I didn't even notice! We really didn't even need to have her bedroom ready!

I feel like it's a boy, but I think that's primarily because my DH comes from a long line of boys. DH really wants it to be a girl though and keeps calling it "her". So we'll see, I really don't know, but excited to find out!

Yeah, I am thinking we'll hold off on getting a lot until after the babe is born. That's if my OCD nature allows me to not have everything ready beforehand, haha.

I find the DH's are usually right with whatever they pick. DH said without question DD was going to be a girl, never wavered at any point actually!

We need J to weigh in since her prediction rate is so high!

We need to get on the will thing. Now that I am pg, DH is more on board with getting one done. We are going to increase our life insurance as well, and I need to get myself some disability insurance too.

Trying to decide who we should go with as a guardian - K, who did you guys pick?

Happy Friday the 13th!

We chose my sister. SHe's the executor too.

She is DSS's guardian too if we both die...however I guess that just means she essentially replaces DH so that could still be messy afterwards!

One thing the lawyer asked that may apply to you too is say you say if both of you die you want everything divided amongst the children and whether the stepchild is included evenly. But essentially if you have treated them as a dependant while you were alive I believe they are legally entitled the same as any child.

Ahh I missed so much this week! Sorry ladies, I've been busy keeping A happy and working on CMA this week. My presentation is tomorrow and my brain is seriously mush, I can't keep my stuff straight, it's probably going to be a train wreck!

Add to that I need to be there at 7:30am, showered, dressed formally and with a fed baby so I can get through an hour without her melting down. I need to wake up at 5am! ugh.

Other than that things are good. Next week will be busy too as I have a group deadline for Friday for our board report, after that I have about a month off while others do most of the work (I do an earlier part) - We also start infant massage on Wednesday and I've been trying to go for a walk every day. I'm definitely feeling the baby blues and getting out of the house helps. Today I grabbed Starbucks and walked 45 minutes even though it was cold and rainy. A loves the Moby wrap.

How is everyone else?

C - I think it's a boy. I could be off though, haven't talked with you enough lately so I don't have a super strong feeling.

I have always found the heartrate thing to be backwards. High was boy an low was girl for me, my bFF's 3 kids and my sister's 2 kids. Lol.

Tyler's would be in the 130's sometimes and 160s or 150's most of the time tho. Who the heck knows! It's fun guessing tho! I just always had a major gut feeling. I would have been shocked of they told me girl lol.

That's good that you have your mom to help - I saw the pics you posted on FB, looks like C is getting around pretty good!

No ultrasound booked yet, I had a doctor's appointment on Friday and she put the requisition in, so I should get a date soon. Can't wait!

There may be a strike of health workers here (strike date is April 25) and I was worried about that delaying the ultrasound if it happens, but I just realised that our maternal/child hospital here is a separate entity (not part of the same health district going on strike) so I don't think services there would be affected. That's my hope anyways!

Generally I am feeling good these days. Belly is starting to get bigger than my regular pants can handle so I need to get myself some maternity clothes this week for sure smile

C - i don't think the IWK is affected. They are NSGEU as well but not within Capital Health so I don't believe it's their contract causing the strike
