House on Friday!

The move went well - just hanging out at the hotel now.

DH is doing awesome at his new job, and apparently they encourage going home early LOL very different pace here

We've been down here for... well over a year, if not 2 years! This is out 17th page of "100" pages haha

We delete our work though, since most of us reveal too much

I've been very blah. I'm not feeling well and recovering from some horrific back spasms

It does suck. It gave me a glimpse how DH will help me when I'm a senior needing massive assistance. So I guess there's a silverlining there?

It does feel like a Friday. It's too nice of a day to be a Wednesday.

*laugh* Yeah... it's always enlightening to get a glimpse of how our hubbies would handle us being incapacitated wink

It does look goregous out... blue sky... sun shining... birds singing stupid-early in the morning (no, seriously... 4-freakin'-thirty the one outside our bedroom window started *sigh*)... much nicer than Actual Friday is supposed to be.

My interweb connection is being massively flakey today.... I hate when that happens *sigh*

Hotel until our house is ready!

We went for the 'final' walk through today... it looks awesome!

Though... apparently our fridge isn't coming for 2 weeks... I'm not sure how I feel about this lol we may need to buy a temp fridge.

What?! Two weeks until you get a fridge???

Well, maybe you can buy a cheap one at a scratch-and-dent place and then move it to the garage later for over-flow. We have a garage fridge and it comes in handy!!

I'm confused... why is your fridge going to be 2 weeks late?

But there's definitely the Sally Ann or GoodWill etc. in town... or a great excuse to meet some of DH's co-workers by asking if any of them have a fridge at their camp that they won't need for a few weeks, or a beer fridge they can lend you *laugh*

Or Newfie Speed & Sport (as BIL & DH call CanTire) for a 'bar fridge' to tide you over.

Apparently the distribution chain didn't know they stopped making the fridge for a few weeks, and when they found out they were bogged down.

DH's suggestion is to buy a wine fridge, and use it until the fridge comes, and then use the wine fridge for wine rofl it's not a bad idea actually.

wine fridges are not necessarily good for food though... they won't keep milk, etc. They have warmer temps than a normal fridge! But I like the logic!!

LOL I don't even drink wine... I need a choco milk fridge instead tongueold

That's what I was thinking G! I looked at it was like 6-14 degrees C, 6 might be OK but 14 is not OK. Maybe for a red, but not for milk lol

I just ate a MASSIVE greek salad LOADED with oil and a chicken breast. SO full, and I feel gross from all the oil, even though I tried to strain off as much as possible.

I'm used to 1h30m each way for myself, and DH had the same. But now that we will be 10 min away, I don't think we will be able to go back to a long soul sucking commute.

He texted me moments after he left for work today, saying he made it to work, and I actually laughed out loud LOL

Yeah... DH keeps rubbing it in now that he's 15 minutes from work (assuming red lights, but no trains at the level crossings)... I thought I was doing well cutting a half-hour off mine by relocating offices rofl

Well, strictly speaking, my commute would be 26 minutes if every light I hit was green and there was no traffic and I could take the 401. When I put it like that, adding another 19 minutes taking surface streets instead of the highway doesn't sound all that bad, really *laugh*

I'd kill for a 10 minute (or less) commute, though *sigh*
