So with litte one on its way and me being home all the time I'm thinking I'm gonna have to change my cleaning routine.
Vacuuming I've got a handle on and figure can do even daily but what about hardwood, I'll be vacuuming at well.
How often do you clean your hardwood?
What do you use to clean? Mop and water? Special hardwood stuff?
Since we used to do it more infrequently the long process never used to be an issue but if I'm upping my frequency thinking I need a more simple system. TIA.

We run the roomba 4 times a week. The floors are washed with vinegar and water about every 2 weeks because that's when the cleaning lady comes.

We simply vacuum. With 2 dogs, there is plenty of hair, so I find it easier to vacuum than sweep.
I don't find they need to be washed all that often, as they aren't in the high dirt areas, but every once in a while I do a pass with my steam mop.

I vacuum every 3 days or so. 2 dogs= tons of hair. And I wash them with a microfibre mop once every 2 weeks and as needed

Ours aren't in a high traffic area either, they get vacuumed once every 2 weeks and washed maybe once a month with dilute Mr. Clean.

I sweep my hardwood flooring every other day! It is in a high traffic area. Plus the flooring is new, and I like to keep it clean.
It is amazing how much crap I sweep up.Even when I do it every other night.
