 Toys for 6+ month old

People are asking me for ideas for DS for xmas and I have no idea what to tell them! He'll be almost 7 months so anything around that age range and beyond I guess. Any recommendations or thoughts about those push/pull cart things ? Any other toy ideas? He's really into tactile stuff now... and how everything feels.

Here's what I replied in the 'toys for 9 month old' thread, but I really think the second toy would be a hit (given his love of tactile things) - there's a "crinkly" section on the activigator as well.

Classic Fisher Price stacking rings toy:

DS also really liked the Bright Starts Activigator - it has different textures, a mirror and fun music (we liked it too) - not the best photo...but this is it:

Thanks Lucasta, I just sent you a PM about the Activigator asking where you got it.. I don't see it on the BRU website, and just saw that post too so will keep a close eye on it! LOL. I guess there isn't too many things DS needs just yet, but would like to have some stuff for him to "grow into."

You can get the Winkel from Mastermind Toys or it can be ordered from Indigo.ca - my DD loves it! Or, you can get the Manhattan Skwish which is kind of similar from BRU.

A grab apple was J's favourite, and still is! They sell them at Babies R' Us. It's similar to the toy above, but it has a crinkly stem and it rattles.
