Best "no name generic diaper" ??

I find that Pampers fit the best for my DS, but I"m looking for a cheaper alternative. I've tried the Luvs brand from the states and really like them (other than the strong baby powder smell), but I'm sure their is something even cheaper and more convienent that I can get here. So please share ones that you have found that have worked well! I have long skinny baby.

Kirkland from Costco. Does that count as "generic"?

Last week, we scored a box of size 1-2 for $20! There are 136 dipes in a box. Only that size was on sale for some reason...

I havent found any. the extra foods/loblaws/superstore (whatever you want to call them) give my kid diaper rash. I don't have any idea why. but whenever he wears them, he gets diaper rash.

the walmart brand, I find feels thin and cheap; though I haven't used them since he was newborn.

the worst I found were the ones from shoppers drug mart. they've been revamped though and i havent used the new ones.

Shopper's Drug Mart brand gave my son a pretty bad rash. It took me to two bags of the diapers to realize it!

I like Parent's Choice for during the day but I find the wetness tends to seep through a lot at night.

Superstore brand is really good (I can't remember Our Compliments?) and I like the Sobey's brand.

I keep going back to pampers though because I never have him in wet pjs at night or after his first morning pee but I still get it happening every few days with the "no name" brands.

Once our DS was in size 3s, we found Parents Choice worked really well for him. Night times though we *have* to go with a big brand... Fisher Price overnights work well but are hard to find, so we use Huggies overnights.
