DD not sleeping..... can teething cause this?

Lately DD wakes up in the middle of the night and is awake sometimes for 2 hours. I know she has some teeth coming in and we have been trying not to give her the bottle all the time but this is the only thing that puts her to sleep. It's brutal! It's like she wants to play. That or she just wants to be with mommy or daddy. Anybody else going through this?? DD is 11 months old by the way.

We're still goign through this at 17 months! It only happens when there is a tooth about to pop.

Even pain relief doesn't put him back to sleep right away either. I've been up for a minimum of 2 hours every night for the past 2.5 weeks while I wait for eye tooth #3 and 4 to get through the gum.

Honestly, do what ever it takes to get her back to sleep! There are also growth spurts at 12 months so she might actually be hungry on top of it!

I am glad I am not the only one whose kid does this! I am losing my mind here waiting for tooth #3 to break through. That combined with the 6 month growth spurt is making for a very tired household around here right now

We've been fairly sleepless at our house this week too! I'm pretty sure DS's top two teeth are coming in. Last night was better but Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night we were up almost every 2 hours and with some of those wakings, he didn't want to go back to sleep right away! No advice, just wanted to let you know you're not alone and hang in there. It won't last forever (that's what I keep telling myself! *LOL*)

It's been hell putting DD to sleep this week too and she's been waking up 2 times during the night and when u leave her side she freaks out. I think it's a tooth thing because her 2 bottom teeth are coming out now and it's been this week only she's like this.

I just wanted to add that the worst times for seperation anxiety (and therefore more wake ups even without teeth and not settling back to bed easily) happened for us at about 8-9 months, again around 12 months, again around 12-13 months, again at about 15 months, and finally again this past week (17 months). It comes in waves and seems to peak along with pain, so he decides that no only is he in pain and misses Mommy, but that only Mommy will make him feel better.

Sigh. We had one good night 2 days ago and last night was h&ll again.

Last night was torture. DD woke up at 1:45 and then again at 4am. This time at 4 she decided she wanted to play and wouldn't go back to sleep so I brought her to our bed where she continued to roll around and wake up DH. after 45 min of that she finally fell asleep till about 6:15 and then again till about 8:30. This has been the first and only week she has woken up like this. Even when she was born her sleeping was better than now
