Private Practice April 24th - SPOILERS

My thoughts on tonight's episode.

Cooper is mean. But Charlotte always, always rocks.

Amelia has been dealt such a wretched hand. And yet, Addison was so wonderful when the roles were somewhat reversed. Could Amelia have been a little ... gentler? I guess not. And I do get it. Ugh. How awful.

I missed Sheldon.

This whole Pete/Violet relationship continues to baffle me. Remember, last season, how he just couldn't handle the thought of more time with her? And now he just wants to have fun? It's like they have different writing teams working on their scenes.

I'm thrilled that Addison has a baby. I hope they don't take that away from her.

And how on earth do you choose between Taye Diggs and Benjamin Bratt??

I missed the first five minutes. What happened to Amelia's baby?

I honestly thought in this episode (since I missed last weeks) that Amelia gave birth to her baby, and that the courts took it away from her and gave it to Addison, and that's who Baby Henry is! WHOOPSY!
I seriously couldn't figure out WHY Amelia is SOOOO bloody mad a Addison! BUT at the same time, she's voicing what so many of us who have gone through a loss FEEL, how angry and sad and just devastating it is when you lose your own baby, and then you see how happy the people around you are with their babies, and you know it won't be you! It's not a rational feeling, but when you're in the middle of that hurt and anger, nothing really makes much sense!

Ok how does her baby have no brain? Am. Being too literal here? I mean how would it grow or have a heart beat with no brain? This doesn't make sense to me...the brain controls everything if ITA not there then there is no way for the heart to beat...am I wrong?

I haven't watched the episode yet (it's naptime soon!) but there is a condition called anencephaly where most parts of the brain are missing. A girlfriend had this condition with her first pregnancy.

It was so sad. I had never heard of a baby with no brain before. That in itself is horrible enough. But then to have to go through the rest of the pregnancy and carry the baby to term when you know there is no hope for it has to be the hardest thing in the world. Knowing you're going to go through all that, including labour, and yet you still won't have a baby.

I love that she is going to give the baby's organs away. It doesn't fix anything for her but it will go a long way to helping her accept what's happened and eventually move on.

where did sheldon go? did he leave the show?

I cant believe that Amelia would have to carry the baby to full term with a condition like that, is that really what would happen

I am soo soo happy for Addison

Sheldon, his ex wife called because she left the next "husband" at the altar with the honeymoon paid for so apparenty he was her +1.

I want to smack Sam. I get that he still loved her but come on! He only kissed her because he found out she was ok with not having a baby at the time. He doesn't get to be mad(and hes not anymore I guess) at the guy who likes her/wants to maybe be with her regardless of a baby or not.
