POLL what diapers do you use??

Im using huggies right now and I hate them!! We started using the newborn natural fit huggies for DS but when he got bigger we then went to the regular huggies. Not liking them at all we changed to the more expensive ones again (huggies natural fit) and now we are back to the regular.
DS is only 16months and is wearing size 6!! He's not a fat toddler by any means but Im finding that huggies just dont fit right him properly. And the quality has gone down hill aswell.

I have tried Parents Choice before but they didnt work well for DS. What brand are you using and do you like them?

I love pampers, but recently have switched to the new green brand from Superstore. They aren't as soft as the pampers but way less expensive and they're "greener" I still buy pampers if they're on sale

We CD but when at daycare, DS is in disposables. We used to be a hardcore Pampers family and then one day I picked up a bag of Teddy's Choice Supreme's and we love those. I have tried the store brand from Sobey's as well and they aren't bad but I find the sizing runs a little small (and I still like TC way better).

We just started using the PC Green diapers and we really like them! They are cut a bit bigger than Huggies/Pampers, are a bit trimmer (thinner) and can hold a TON of pee (for when mommy becomes preoccupied with her busy preschooler and forgets to change his diaper )! They may not be as 'soft' as some of the other dipes, but DS doesn't seem to care (nor do I). I love that they're a bit 'greener' than other diapers (even though they still end up in the landfill...) and they cost about the same as the non-store brands. Big from me!

Other - whatever is the cheapest with the combo of sales and coupons. Last purchase was huggies which were the same price as Pampers, but actually cheaper than Superstore brand. Time before that was superstore brand because they were clearing out the old style of packaging.

We've always used Pampers. Started off with Pampers Swaddlers, then Cruisers, and now I use Baby Dry because there are more diapers in a package. I use night-time pull-ups or Huggies Overnites at night as DS is still a heavy-wetter. I buy Huggies on occasion if they're on sale and Pampers aren't but I don't find them as soft inside and they seem bulkier.

We use Costco diapers. I used Pampers until DS was about 10 months, then I tried Costco and haven't looked back! They are even better over night for him.

I mainly use CD's but when I do use disposables it's pampers (swaddlers still) I used huggies when he was small a few times and never liked them as much as pampers.

We use Pampers now.

When DS was younger and smaller - we used and loved Parent's Choice - they worked just as well and are chepaer. but now that he is bigger (and wearing Pampers Size 6) the Parent's Choice largest size don't contain the pee.

We started off using Pampers Swaddlers, and now use Pampers Cruisers. Once DS started sleeping 12 hours at night, we started using Huggies Overnites because he was waking up soaked every morning. Overnites are great!

We mostly use cloth diapers, Fuzzi Bunz. But when a disposable is needed, we use Pampers. We started with the Swaddlers and use Baby Dry after that.

We've been a Pampers family since the beginning...tried Huggies for awhile when he was a few months old but they were never as good as Pampers.

We've been using cruisers until recently actually. When we were in Florida I used the Publix name brand and now that we've used those up I literally just purchased a box of Kirkland. The thing is my little dude goes (#2) like 3-5 times a day so we're changing diapers every couple of hours. Didn't make much sense using the high quality cruisers for that.

We do however use Huggies Overnites for nighttime and they've worked really well as Jack is a heavy wetter. Although occasionally in the last few weeks we've had him in the Publix or Kirkland (they sent us samples) overnight and he's been fine.

To the OP: A note on Parents Choice - there's 2 different cuts, one for active babies with more elestic in the waist & legs ...and the regular. If you tried the redular ones, maybe try the others, they are called Skooters

I started out with Huggies till I figured out that it wasn't normal that DD smelled of pee after just one wetting...so we switched to "no -name" Pure & Gentle and got to size 3 with that one then switched to Little Tikes (yes the company that makes the toys) till size 5 we were paying from 17 - 19 cents a diaper when we got to size 5 the cost went up to 21 cents a diaper so it was the same as you could get the pampers at if you got them on sale and with the $2.00 off coupon so we just watched for sales and used the coupons and have plenty of stock (about 4 boxes of size 5 and 3 of size 6 on hand now *L*)

I chose "other" as we use Teddy's Choice (PC brand, I think) and Simply Kids (Loeb/metro brand). I really prefer them, regardless of the fact that they are much cheaper than other diapers.

Once in a while, someone will buy us "brand name" diapers. I really hated the Huggies but don't mind Pampers. I did find that Pampers stink more than the brands we normally use when soiled but thought they fit well and looked comfortable.

Pamper have always fit DD well, and I had no problems with them, but ince in a pinch when we were out and Wal Mat was without her size in Pampers we tried the Parents Choice and they have been great! Only now do I understand the smell issues people have with the Pampers. I LOVE the smell of a fresh Pamper but a wet one ICK, the Parents Choice just don't have that smell.

I will likely use Pampers in teh beginning for our next one, then we will see if we need to try other brands, as we cloth diaper at home.

Same here. We've always been a Pampers family. I got 200 free Huggies diapers when DS was little and after a few days I ended up giving them away because he leaked out with EVERY single pee or poop. Pampers has always worked for us and I just make sure to always buy a box or two when they're on sale.

When DD was younger I used cloth. Now I am using disposibles. I have tried quite a few brands. When I started sposies, I liked the Life brand. They say they are hypo-allergenic so I figured they may have less chemicals. Now I normally use Kirkland (Costco) diapers which are pretty much the same as Huggies Supreme. I buy Huggies Supreme if I run out of Costco's. I don't like the regular Huggies though. I bought 5 packs of Pampers once because they were really cheap. Gag!!!! They were so scented I couldn't wait to be done with them. I might try the PC green diapers that the pps were talking about.

I also cannot stand the scent of Pampers. Makes me gag! Especially when mixed with the lovely aroma of fresh poop. Ugh. I also don't like the "mesh" like lining in the Cruisers.

We use Huggies and have never had any problem with them.

We generally use huggies natural fit, ds is in size 6 now. I just always preferred them over pampers that the fit was better for ds. It's just trail and error really, all the little butts are different shapes. I did buy pampers cruisers the other day just because they were on sale and we had a coupon, I think the size 6 in them is a little bigger.

We use Huggies Supreme at night and regular Huggies during the day. We used to use only the supreme because MIL always bought regular when we stayed at their place and DS leaked through EVERY.NIGHT. Once we figured out that it was the kind, we switched to regular during the day (cheaper and he's getting changed much more frequently) and supreme at night because they hold it all in! :-)
