Each carseat has a different expiry date - that information is avaliable on transport Canada's website.

The focus should be the stuff we love that keeps us here - all the misc stuff. But how do you attract people, and keep them there? Part of the fun of this board, for me anyway, has been watching the girls get married, following their life stories as them move into the world of parenting.
A format similar to this would be great. I still think we need a Canadian Women's forum - not attached to a magazine would be even better. Just a place for me to harness the power of the canadian women - thought, gossips, shopping tips etc.
I would be willing to jump ship if my friends came along too

It was all on the downlow that tickets were sold before hand - to season ticket holders etc (rumour has it it was just people with box seats) As far as I knew/heard - all tickets were going on sale at the same time, saturday morning.
Also, with the price point, I am sure, many people, myself included though, Hey, I actually can afford to go...and now there is not a hope in heck. I personally felt that I had as fair of chance as anyone else to possible score tickets - but from everything that is coming to light, I really don't think that was the truth, and that is what leaves a yucky taste in my mouth.
Then add insult to injury, the scalpers seemed to secure way more than their fair share of the tickets. I was hoping to get tickets, but I didn't - I only know of one actual person who got tickets (hi puppy&kitten) - you would think there would be more people than that - but no one seems to have these tickets, so everyone is left wondering, who the heck has them.

I am okay with the split - but I still don't like the look of CF - which makes me not want to hang out over there. I do find the stark white color scheme hard on my eyes.
But, most of all - I think I am just tired of the drama and how it is handled - and I agree the kinda double standard.
Also, as I have mentioned - the wedding boards are dead. It is not near the fun planning a wedding with the boards as I thought it would be. There are not as many brides to collaborate with and get excited with.

I think part of the problem does stem from the fact that arguments/disagreements are never allowed to be talked out or resolved - they are just locked away never to talk about again, just fester below the surface.
I also feel that I don't want to share anymore - snide comments are allowed and those posters get away with it all the time, but god forbid you mention a baby.

Ironic since, I am a bride planning a wedding, and I love kids, and hope to one day have your traditional family. I love hearing about all my WB friends have kids, and although I may not be at that point in my life, I enjoy celebrating along...
So what the heck is going on here? I am sorry, but why is the minority speaking for the majority. Don't get me wrong, I have a huge heart and feel for each and every person on here that deals with heartache and loss, but this is getting silly. Where do you draw the line? At what point are these problems your own that you have to learn and handle in your own ways? I think properly labeling the post is respectful, but you can't even mention little people, ever?! What about a post about kids at a wedding etc. The reality is kids are apart of all of our lives and will slip into conversations at some point.
And where do we draw the line. I hate hearing about everyone's wonderful careers and all the cool stuff they can afford, their big fancy houses - it crushes me. But do I ask them to not post about it? no - I realize that that is my life circumstance to deal with.
This is all starting to make me feel like this is a bunch of kid hating folk, and that is not me at all...

But, this seems all kinda silly. The reality is it is apart of her life right now, it is where she is at. Where do we draw the lines? Should she hide her ticker in misc too? It is part of her life right now, it was not an announcement...
They were just asking where she was - anyone who hangs out in misc knows she is pretty active up here, and she was just missed. a friend asking where a friend was - and because of her life situation, making an assumption.
And I was glad someone pointed it out, because I would have missed it down in BB otherwise.

I also want to chime in and say I am not enjoying reading BB over on CF - simply due to the color scheme. I hope you are continuing to work on it and give it more of the WB forum feel.

I would also consider the City Mini. Not a typical umbrella stroller - but basically as small and compact (just in a different way) and this stroller has a full recline - as well as the added benefit of a full handle - so it makes one handed steering easier.
