In my view, it makes sense to have a Misc here and a Misc on CF. It just makes sense since they're distinct forums (from the view of a new member, at least).
There are lots of other good reasons why CF should have its own Misc in

DD went through a 3 month period of pretty well non-stop ear infections. We'd get a week or two break between them but the only thing that seemed to help was antibiotics. It was to the point that we were looking at tubes as an option.
Until we took her to an osteopath. He did some really gentle manipulations (so gentle that I was actually wondering when he was going to start) and the fluid cleared up pretty well immediately. We took her to see an ENT about a week after the osteopath and she was shocked at how good her ears looked.

Hrm...I just read the article Raynn posted and it seems less to do with the original artist(s) being ticked that their art/craft/content has been pinned and more with users being concerned with the Terms of Use for the site.
The concern seems to be around the way Pinterest can use the pictures after they've been pinned and the risk that poses to the original pinner (who, according to the Terms agreed that they had permission to use the images and by pinning transferred rights to the site owners).
Huh. Any legally-inclined people able to weigh in?

Yup, mat leave is technically Leave Without Pay. You're granted an 'allowance' that is considered supplementary, not regular pay. So you can't change anything while you're off.
For your second question, I think it depends on the department. I've known people who wrote post-dated cheques for the entire year they were off, and others who paid in bulk(by putting the money that you would set aside every month in a different account until it's time to pay).

This has been happening in Halifax for a few years. I participated in the first year (with Richard Simmons!) It was hard to raise $1000 but totally doable. The 6 hours of exercise was also totally doable. There were lots of breaks and the workouts were by no means intensive.
It was a lot of fun and I'll probably do it next year if I'm back in shape

My doc is somewhere in between the "no news is good news" camp and the "come in regardless what the result is" camp. For routine tests, he doesn't call if things are normal. For more serious test results, his office will call for a follow-up appointment regardless of the results.
The latter drives me crazy for three reasons: total waste of resources; my doc is on the other side of the city; and it is very scary when you get that call and they won't give you any hint of the results over the phone.

New toys is a great idea! I picked up a few new (inexpensive) toys to break out when we flew with DD. It was totally a great idea because she was super focused on her new toys

I started nursing just as we were speeding up to take off. She was asleep for the descent both times (and it didn't seem to bother her), so I didn't bother during the descent.

I have two Undercover Mama tanks that I stole from Babysteals not too long ago. They're seriously the best thing ever. I hate pulling my tank tops down because it stretches the shoulders to heck. And I'd prefer to pull them down than up.
Annnyway, I decided to try these and they're perfect. The top just snaps in with your bra, so when you open your bra, the top comes down too (no tank straps to deal with). I wish I'd had them for the past six months.
Having said that, I find that two is totally enough. I don't wear them at home (I just whip 'em out), but I like the extra belly coverage when I'm going out somewhere. So, I wear them going out and then take them off when I get home (since I usually change into comfy clothes the minute I step in the door anyway).

Help!!
I found a bottle on our counter (no idea how long it's been there, it was hiding behind a container of Lysol wipes). And it's grown mold. I've washed it in hot water and soap and it smells like mold. I boiled it and it still smells like mold. I'm now boiling it in water with a drop of dish soap. If it still smells like mold I should toss it, right? Or, any tricks up the collective WB sleeve?

I need suggestions for solutions. Can be processes (what you do and when) or products (the cooler the better).

I have a recommendation!
To preface: I have ribbon leashes from other etsy sellers (not the one Melinda referenced) and the snaps pull away from the ribbon. Maybe I'm too rough on it, but it's a problem I've encountered.
Anyway,
AlligatorSnaps makes ribbon leashes that are adjustable with a toggle clip. I love that they're still ribbon but the adjustable piece would totally fix the snap problem that I've encountered with others. And I love that they can fit snugly around different toys, cups, etc. so you can switch it up easily. And, did I mention she's a BBer?

Haha... I had to read the question a couple of times before I got it.
If they were two different pairs of shoes and the twins shared, then it probably doesn't make much of a difference?
But if you're buying the twins the same pair of shoes, then there is a difference, I think, because there's only one choice!

The caesar salad is crap. Fake bacon. Boo.
