Its definitely trial and error when it comes to finding the best nutrition before a run. I tend to eat things like a Cliff Bar or Lara Bar about 45-60 minutes before a run in the afternoon or evening.
In the morning I like to eat some peanut butter on a bagel (actually, I think a lot of the runners choose this as a breakfast meal before running).
... and way to go on the running. I remember when running for 5 minutes scared the crap out of me

I am a huge fan of the shock absorber sports bra. I have been a two-bra user for years until I found this bra (I am an E / F cup size)
They sell it in specialty bra shops in NB, but if you are close to The Bay, you can find them there. I actually tried one on and then got mine off of ebay (way cheaper).

I'm also with CIBC Imperial Services and I love it!!! They are so helpful and attentive. I always get a meeting on a whim, they do things right away and I no longer have to deal with telephne banking or anyone/thing else.
I have been with BMO, RBC and Scotiabank and will probably never go back - especially BMO.
My DH doesn't really like PC because they called him a lot and he didn't like that.

I wear a 'cycling type short' for running - I got some nice ones at Winners that fit well and don't ride up. To be honest I usually use running capri's because they are the most comfortable - Joe Fresh.
For tops I use sleeveless, wic-away material with my running bra underneath (shock absorber)

Fortunately I don't need to carry a key because my DH is always home with the kids when I run - lol

You can find them at foot locker, sport check or any other type of sports store.
Just remember that you never need to break in a sneaker - if it doesn't feel good on your foot right away then look for a different one

I met DH at work nine years ago and we still work together. We are in different departments but often work on the same jobs. We definitely keep it professional and I am always impressed at his knowledge of his profession.
Its a really small office and we have heard so many jokes about it, but I really enjoy it.
Sometimes with two kids its nice to be able to talk without them around and DH always knows what I'm talking about when I vent about a crappy day at work.
Its also really easy to get along at work functions because we both know everyone and I don't feel like an outsider like some of the other wives do (I work in a VERY male dominated work environment)
... but my DH is not my boss - we have an fairly equal job but my DH is an engineer and I am a technician.

I keep the exact same schedule as much as possible for sleeps and meal times.
I believe young children need structure and stability to thrive and be comfortable in their situation. They need consistency (at least my kids do ;))
That being said, there are times when my kids sleep in 30 minutes or so on the weekend and I let them - but their bedtime is always the same. I think that sleep is so very important on developing brains.

my favorites are:
Morning Hot Cereal Mix (from CE cookbook)
.5 cup oatmeal
.5 cup Cream of Wheat cerea
.5 cup Red River or other multigrain hot cereal mix
.5 cup wheat germ
.5 cup oat bran
.5 cup raisins
.5 cup mixed dried fruit: cranberries, cherries, blueberries
.5 cup slivered almonds
Mix together and keep in container. To make, use one cup of water and 1/2 cup of cereal mix, boil and then simmer until thickened. I then take 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries and pour the hot cereal over top. It is such a hearty meal that keeps me full for hours.
Another favorite of mine is making egg muffins, bunch of eggs, chopped cooked back bacon, chopped grean/red peppers, green onions, mushrooms - mix it all together, put it in the oven and viola, egg muffins for a quick breakie
If I am really in a rush, a cooked egg over a slice of toast (I make my own clean bread at home)

We are in the process of building a home and I am unsure of the sequence of events.
We have a builder, we have a plan, we have a mortgage.
The lots has been cleared and excavated, the foundation is partially poured.
So what do I need to do next:
Is it deciding on my where to put my wall outlets and fixtures?
Is it talking to the kitchen place about cabinets?
Is it picking my paint colors?
I feel a little overwhelmed right now so any advice would be welcome

In my dream kitchen there would be a recycling station / compost station since right now I have 3 huge blue bins and a green bin in my kitchen looking ugly

Also, a slotted shelf to place all my baking sheets (pampered chef stuff).
A side pull out spice rack that I can see all my 50 spice jars
In our mudroom there will be a bench for sitting with slots under it for footwear and then above would be personalized cubby's with an electrical outlet in each one to recharge electronics (blackberry, iPhone, DS).
My laundry room would have a spot for the iron, a spot for flat drying, some shelves for detergent, dryer sheets, bleach, etc....
My storage would have several rows of shelves to fit rubbermaid totes so that I can easily reach the items and keep them organized
thats it for now

one thing I do is cook several servings of brown rice on Sunday for lunch or dinner throughout the week
I also have a lot of cod/halibut since it is fast to cook and only needs a squeeze of lemon and salt/pepper for taste
My main snack are LARABAR (found in organic section). There are maybe 3 to 4 ingredients and I find they fill me up the best when I need something to keep my energy up.
My main staple would have to be the Chicken/Orzo soup. I prepare a huge pot every couple of weeks and it freezes so well and is a perfect lunch or dinner idea.

This is what I do (straight out of the Clean Eating Cookbook)
take a chicken carcass, cover it with water, put in some celery, carrots, onions, parsnips, 5 cloves of garlic and 5 bay leaves and cook for 3 hours.
place in fridge overnight, once out of the fridge, skim all fat off the top of the soup then strain all the other ingredients (I usually warm up the soup before doing this)
then with the stock I add some carrots, brussel sprouts, celery, orzo pasta and cut up chicken (I use rotisserie). I then simmer this for about an hour for the veggies to be soft and the pasta to cook.
enjoy

I rarely eat pasta either, but when I do its the rice pasta in the organic section - can't think of the name right now.
To eat clean its a good idea to look for food that has a small ingredient list and preferably all ingredients that you can pronounce - lol

However, I won't let them play outside by themselves - not quite secure with that yet.
