We did did one for J's birthday last month. The min number of kids was twelve and each kid was $18 plus taxes. We ended up asking sisters of two of the girls if the wanted to stay as we where paying for the spots anyway. We had kids from 3 to maybe 8 years old.
DH and I did not have lift a finger. The helpers kept the kids busy from the time we got there until we left. The first decorated their hats and got their aprons on. After which the started making the dough then onto fruit and marshmallow kebabs which they could eat or take home. Back to finish their dough and add the toppings. While the pizza's cooked they decorated 6 cupcakes and then eat and had cake. We might have had maybe 5 min at the end to open presents.
The kids had fun and for us it was nice to not have the visiting princess that has been coming to the little girl parties around here.

Chewables made giving A meds so much easier. She refuses to take any liquid forms and if we tried it hide it in food she stopped eating.
Once we switched, we would hand her her meds and she pops them in her mouth and chews, done. She is 3. She has had Tylenol, Advil and her strep throat meds all in chewable form.
The starting dosage on mine (advil) is 24lbs/2 years with 1 100mg tablet every 6 to 8 hours so depending on his weight you may be fine to try.

Out of the run segments I was able to "run" the first 4, walked the 5th, ran the 6th, 1/2 the 7th and maybe 1/3 of the eight. I ended up in a lot of pain in my left hip. But then again I was out there even though it rained and tomorrow is another day.
My run is my time without the kids and Tae hates the stroller so I would have to listen to him yell most of the way and A complaining that he is too loud or that he is bugging her. No thanks.
I'm debating between shred or just going for a walk one DH gets home.

J's birthday party is tomorrow and I am so glad that they aren't coming to my house but I have three kids that I haven't heard from yet and I'm terrified that they are going to show up anyways.

I would love to have the uppers up to ceiling height but I don't know if I have the room to put a smaller cabinet on top of a normal upper. I have 57 3/4 inches between the ceiling and the countertop. I want to plank the ceiling so I'll lose about an inch there.

A lot of the travel is done in the winter by snowmobile as there isn't a lot of roads. Or small planes.
