We got the Ikea one too. Good thing we did. DS used it for about 10 months and has decided that he doesn't like any highchairs with a hard plastic piece that seperates/goes between his legs. So we had to look for a second one and ended up getting one that straps to a dining room chair that is a fabric strap between his legs and he loves his one now. And we only spent $10 used for that one.
So we've spent $35 on two highchairs for ds so far and one of them folds up easily to take with us when we go out to family or friends for dinner.

Yah. That sounds like DS. Add in that he seemed to think that 4am was a great time to start the day and it was lovely around here.
I didn't start until he was about 7 or 8 months as I just kept hoping that as he got older/started solids/or whatever excuse I could cling to that he would turn it around on his own. It didn't happen.
It took longer than it seemed to take others in my mommy group (but that could have been my error too). But now, when he's not sick, he sleeps (on average) 11hr straight at night and has a 2-3 hr nap during the day. He goes right down with no fuss or no crying. When we started and got him on track (a couple months older than your dd), he would sleep 10-12 hrs a night and have a 3 hr nap in the morning and a 2 hr nap in the afternoon everyday.
He's been sick for the last few weeks and had a major set-back with his night sleep (even at his age) but in 2 nights we've almost got him back on track again.

I don't have an issue with it being sturdy. I've totally filled it to the top with water and ds has gone nuts playing with it and I'm not worried about him breaking it. I don't know if you put sand in it if that would be heavier and be a problem but with just water it's great.
He likes all the cups that it comes with (one of them has gravitated to the bathtub as a tub toy now) and some of his tub toys are now in the water table and he loves to throw rocks to splash them in there too.
I don't use the umbrella though (our deck is shady) so I don't know how that works with the table.

We bought this one from TRU a few months ago from TRU (but I don't see it on their site now) and DS loves it. I put water in both sides as I don't see combining sand and water as being a smart thing to do at his age. He loves it as that means lots of water to splash in and when he has a friend over there is lots of space for them both to splash around.

The pool shoes and robeez that we use for slippers are kept in his bedroom. When he gets up in the morning, we put a pair of robeez on and when he goes out for the day, they go on the shoe rack so when he comes home they can go right back on.

I worked all day. When I came home, we went out to visit my Mom for a bit (she had a knee replacement on Monday so we wanted to see how she was doing at home). Then we went to the park so DS could go and run around like a maniac, ate dinner out and then came home. Wasn't up to hanging out with the 50 000 people downtown but we wanted to do something outside since we actually had some sunshine and not rain (amazing!).

After that one, we moved to the Playtex Insulator Straw Cup. It took DS a bit to figure out to not tip the cup because if he did the straw didn't really work. And it took DH a bit to realize to not over tighten it because if he did it leaks (sigh). But now DS loves it and drinks about 3 of the cups with water every day (in addition to his other drinks) with no problems.
I'm not ready to move him to a cup without a lid as he is always knocking the cup over and throwing it around and that would just be way too messy.

Abso-freakin-lutely nothing. At that age, we were ecstatic when he slept until 5am (his usual wake-up was somewhere around 4am still). Now his wake-up is usually between 6-7am and there is nothing that we have tried to make it later.
Oh I lied. There was the other night when he had a really bad night (was up from midnight until 5am screaming from teething) and he slept until 10am but I don't recommend trying that method

Good luck and I hope you figure something out as it's not fun at all.

When M started cereal (but we went with oat to eat though) it did constipate him at the beginning. So I just mixed a bit of pureed prunes in with it and that took care of business. After a couple weeks he seemed to adjust to the iron levels and I was able to eliminate the prunes and use any flavour of fruit for variety for him.

We live in a rental. No a/c. So we switched out the dining room and bedroom lights for fans. I'm not a fan of sweating to death if I can avoid it. For the bedrooms we just put plain all-white ones that sort of blend in with the ceiling. For the dining room it's a flat silver and dark wood so a bit more modern and not the tacky eyesore ones that were posted above.

I ended up with a section (cord was wrapped around ds's neck twice and his heartrate was going way too low during contractions) and have no regrets. It was the right choice for me, went smoothly (even though the procedure that I had-a smaller incision that knicked ds's head and I was then ripped instead of cut the full length-grosses out a lot of people). The healing was great. Yes I did end up with an infection but it cleared right up. 6 weeks later I was walking with ds to and from the mall (about 30 min each way and all hills). I lucked out with no numbness that so many people report post c-section so I can't complain about that either.

I'm not 100% but I believe in BC you do have to do some sort of verbal vow. What it is can be pretty flexible but there are some legal things that do have to be in the ceremony for it to be legal. So I don't think that you will be able to find a legal thing that is just paperwork.

I try to work it so I only cook every other night. Each dinner should make leftovers for the next. For example, right now I have a roast (with spuds and vegies) in the slow cooker for tonight. Tomorrow will be leftovers.

I just have no desire to cook every night.

What we have been told is to continue with formula (alimentum or nutramigen) until ds is 2 then we can change him to milk alternatives such as rice, almond, hemp milks-but not soy. Many babies with milk protein allergies are also allergic to soy (and from what I've read soy is just not a good choice for your body as it can mess with your hormones). You don't want to change to the milk alternatives before two as the fat content is too low for proper brain development.
So DS has a bag of 150ml of frozen breastmilk every day, 1.5-2 cans of alimentum and then water. We are finally meeting with a nutritionist in about two weeks where I want to get more definative guidelines and answers around this.
For yogurt, I found a great coconut milk one that is fortified so it is similar to yogurt. DS and I both love it and he gets so excited when he sees the carton come out of the fridge.

Try not to worry. You don't 'miss' your period per se. Odds are you are having a longer cycle for some reason (stress, illness, your body just messing with you) and your ovulation is just delayed. Drs don't do anything until it's been 90 days-yes 3 months-without a period so I (personally) wouldn't be jumping the gun for that. And I do know of what I speak as I've been known to have cycles that were 130+ days long before.
It is also possible to have an annovulatory cycle which tend to be longer and when they happen, your period tends to be lighter.

Not only that but then could someone not have other authority over your body while pg? Telling you what you can or can't do/eat/take/medications you have to take because it's no longer your decision. That because the fetus would now have some legal rights that could supercede yours as the mother during pg.
There are just so many possible implications and I just wish that things would just be left alone.

At the urging of our dr, ds started rice cereal just after 4 months (we actually had to use it to thicken anything he got in a bottle to make it heavier to stay in his stomach).
