Random tourists took pictures of dd when we visited Hawaii a few years ago. It was crazy. Like we would be eating at a restaurant and these ladies would come up and start oogling dd and took pics! Dh and I were shocked! And it happened like 3 times over the course of 10 days!

I'm an only. I didn't mind it at all as a kid, I enjoyed not having a sibling.
Now is different though, I really really wish I had a sibling. I feel that I am lacking that bond with another person that only siblings have. It is stressful to think that when my mom gets old/sick I am the only one responsible for her care.
As for socialization, I spent a lot of time with my extended family (aunt/uncles and cousins), and was in daycare from when I was 18mos old.

Ds has been bf'd since birth. With dd I bf'd her untill 14 mos when I weaned her over a month until we were down to 1 feed a day, then I cut that one out.
I got down to 2 feeds a day with ds, and last night he didn't want to bf. He didn't want anything to with it all day today (I'm Soo engorged). Can a kid just wake up and decide he's done? He is still eating well, and is drinking what it seems like more homo milk to compensate.
Should I just assume he weaned himself? Or should I keep offering (I've offered like 5 times today).

We are taking my dd who will be 4 and ds who will be 20mos to Disney world in December! We are staying on site at a value resort and getting the dining plan. Many times Disney offers free dining, so I'm crossing my fingers for that .
We are getting 7 days of park tickets with park hopper option so we don't have to be stuck in one park all day.
I have already done a bunch of research, disboards.com is really helpful as well as allears.com.

it broke my heart. But I totally understand that it's nearly impossible for the educators to eliminate the problem. They would have to be practically attached to the instigator all day, which isn't feasible.

For us the wait list for daycare (the Infant room mind you) is always at least a year long. The cost is $1500 a month. Dd is in the preschool part of the daycare and that fee is $1000 a month.
Live out nannies are pricier then live in. I think live out run about $2200 a month on average and live in around $1500..

Dd was nearly the same age as your ds when her brother arrived, she was/is in full time daycare. We have never had the frantic/sleep deprived feeling and I'm shocked at how well adding ds into the mix went.

Dd has been in full time daycare since ds was born. I don't think I could have handled it without it. I'm so not the type of mom to keep dd occupied for hours on end. Financially it was a strain, but mentally it was a life saver. I wouldn't do it any other way.

So I'm due to return to work April 1st after taking a 1 year mat leave. I was hoping to have a new job and contract lined up last month so I could give my current employer 4 weeks or more notice. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to get a contract signed for another 2 weeks, which takes me 2 weeks to my return date. I'm not comfortable giving notice without a contract signed just in case it falls through. I need a job.
My policy and procedures manual states I need to give 4 weeks written notice if I do not intend to return. I'm not sure what to do?

I really really would hate to do that (since they will be informing my replacement that she need to find a new job, and then they would be short staffed) I have a good relationship with my employers, and would hate to screw them, but I need to think about myself and family. yucky situation....

I was/am in the same exact position your in. I position basically fell into my lap that is beyond perfect.
I told the individual during the interview that I was on mat leave, and that I have worked at the same company for nearly 7 years. The reason I was looking to move on was because my priorities have changed bc of kids/family and I needed something more flexible in that regard (in my field it is vary difficult to stay in the same role once you have a family). He totally saw that I am a loyal employee, and understood my issue with providing a recent reference.
In regards to advancement, if there is no where really to go upward and you are ok with that just let them know that although a vertical movement in your field is limited you still would like to become the best you can be at what you do.

Heart worm season runs from June-nov. If your puppy was born prior to October this past year then you need to get him tested for heart worm prior to starting meds, but if he was born after October then no testing needs to be done this
year. Testing usually starts late April.
Treatment is usually given monthly from June 1st to nov 1st. The product I think is best is Revo.lution. It covers fleas, heartworm, some intestinal parasites. It's ok for ticks, but if you live in an area that has a high tick infestation then you may want to add in another med just for ticks.
Dosing is dependent on weight, but generally speaking for a Wheaton you are looking at about $150 for 6 months of treatment plus another $70 for the test.

I do not remember what the calculation is off hand, but if you call your vet they can tell you how many kcal each cat would require per day based on their weight. On your food it will state how many kcal each can of wet and each cup of dry contains.
We feed our cats 1/4 cup of dry food each in the morning, and a 1/4 can of wet food each in the evening. Both are about the same weight, and both finish their food right away.

All my previous jobs have been paid by the hour. So, I clock in When I get in, clock out when I leave and get paid x times the hours I've worked. When I'm sick, when I return I clock In Those days as sick days (the regular hours that I would have worked) and on vacay days I clock In when I return the days missed and specify those as vacay days etc.
So, if I were to be paid a salary, how do sick days and vacay days get paid or not paid? If I call in sick and let's just say I do not get paid sick days, do they dock the pay at the end of they pay period? Do they work out the $ amount per day based on my salary?
