I have to say, I never thought I would spend 7 years on a "wedding" board. But you know what? It wasn't that when I joined and it evolved even more as I stayed. There have been times I've laughed, I've cried, I've raged, I've commiserated, counselled, asked for help, love, thoughts. This place has always come through. The people are awesome, even the ones that I tussled with. I've learned so much from each and every one of you, here and gone. My life is richer for knowing these internet "strangers" and I'd like to think that I can call on a good number of them as friends.
Any online presence is all about the people, and the people here, the members here, were top-notch, even when they weren't.
I'm being sappy. But this place has been a huge part of my life. It's kept me hanging on to something "real" even when I was losing that IRL. You ladies (and men) have no idea how much I value all of you.
I've learned and sometimes I've taught. Sometimes I was incredibly frustrated. But I always wanted to know about you. What happened in your life. What was cool. What kind of weird thing someone did. How could I have ever come to learn all this stuff on my own? And thank you for helping to make me a better person.

She doing better in math... she works on the same page as the other kids, just different questions. But I don't know what I'd do if we couldn't get the support we needed. The Provincial Gov't seems to forget that we need to educate kids and help them in order to raise them to be the future govt and leaders of industry. We can't leave kids behind and over-burdening teachers is just not cool. I can't imagine a class of 30 Kita's.

I'm sad to see this, kind of shocked and surprised, but not really. I'm afraid as soon as the decision to split up the community was made without our consent or even with decent consultation, it was fairly inevitable.
That said, I loved this place. I've been here for over seven years and there were many reasons to love this place. Primarily the people. I loved helping and being able to get help. I loved the friendships formed. I loved the things we discussed and I loved the people discussing them (even when it seemed like I strongly disliked them). I loved it enough to become a mod. It's a sad, sad day to have to say goodbye.
I guess I'll never get to be anything but the 9th highest poster. Curse you Diva.jen! Curse you!

There are lots of reasons for and against all phones out there. There are some sites that will give you a better breakdown of iPhone versus some Android phones. Android phones can be more customised, but they're also usually running all different kinds of Android OS's. A lot of it is personal preference.

Also, as far as coverage, you won't get better here than Sasktel. They are an industry leader and almost all the towers are theirs to begin with. Additionally, the dropped calls were in places with higher demand. Calls were being dropped at peak times. Plus, their Unlimited Data plan rocks.

It's that time of year again! My DDs' school is doing their annual magazine subscription fundraiser. Subscription prices are usually less through the fundraisers than regular prices. There are tons of magazines (600+) to choose from, and this year some even include digital subscriptions.
To check this out and subscribe please go to
www.QSP.ca. The School Group number is 15558. Please input my DD's name so she can get credit for the subscriptions as they reward the kids for it. Her name is Nikita Pelletier, Grade 7, Teacher: McCulloch.
