I've been looking into having this done for a couple years now. I'm a 40DDD and only 5 feet tall so I feel like my boobs are just taking over my body. I was wondering if anyone who's had it done could tell me about your experience. Any regrets? How was your recovery?

DS loves to bake with me which is a favorite here. We also paint, play trains, build things with lego. He loves to help with chores too which is a huge plus here! Especially the laundry!
This is a favorite of ours.
http://www.fluffybottombabies.ca/item_326/Mellisa-Doug-Stack-Sort-Board.phpWe talk about colors, numbers and shapes with it. We also line them in patterns and I'll ask which goes next. Or I'll show him a couple of them then tell him to close his eyes and when he opens them, ask him which is missing.
So many ideas on pinterest if you ever get a chance to check that out!

DS used to not be much of a fan but loves baths so much now that we do it once a day minimum! I give him bath paints and quickly get him washed while he plays, he barely notices! Sometimes I make colored ice cubes with food coloring and throw some in the tub. He loves watching them melt and trying to catch them and hold them without them slipping out of his hands. The only hard part is washing his hair. He loves to help so we both do the shampoo but the rinsing is torture! I always do that part as quick as I can and at the very end so once it's rinsed I can get him out right away.

My big problem is keeping things thinking that as soon as I get rid of it, I'll figure out what it's for. We have boxes and boxes full of wires and cords that I'm sure are for something, but I don't know what. I keep all weird little odds and ends in case I figure out what it's for. I still have wrapping paper and stuff from YEARS ago. I know it's cheap and I can easily buy more but I hate wasting stuff.

I have a child but the questions don't stop once you do. I get asked often when we'll be having more. I almost died having my first due to heart problems and was told next time I may not be so lucky. I don't like getting into it with people because it really makes me sad. I think my son would be much happier with his mom than a sibling instead.
The worst was when I had to stop breastfeeding due to the heart medication to stop my heart from getting any worse. Some people acted like I was giving my son poison when they saw him with formula. I think if given the option, my son would be much happier with a mommy and drinking formula then having breastmilk a little longer and no mom or a mom that will live a shorter life.

Worst for me was heart failure. About 3 days after delivering my little boy, I went into pregnancy related heart failure (PPCM). They thought I may die. I had the hardest time breathing, had 5L of fluid removed from my lungs. It was really scary. I was terrified that I would have to leave my newborn baby without a mother.
Most painful thing ever was my gallbladder! The pain for me was worse than giving birth. My husband was scared. He said he had never seen me that histercal. After they removed my gall bladder, I was in even more pain. Turned out a stone was left and stuck in a duct. They had to do a scope to remove it. I couldn't lay down at all because I wasn't able to breathe when I did. So glad that pain is over. Recovery was miserable. I wasn't even able to lift my baby...

Does anyone know of a meal planner that I can put the recipes in for as well. I'm looking for something that will add all the amount of each ingredient I need and make it into one list. It gets annoying to have to go through each recipe and add how much of each thing I'll need for the week to make sure I have enough.

My son is still in a crib but we're going to convert it to a toddler bed soon. I'd love to get him some nice Thomas the Train bedding since he loves all things Thomas but I'm having a hard time finding a nice set in that size (crib sized), that ships to Canada. The only ones I found that I liked cost more for shipping than the actual product!
Anyone know where I could find some?
I'd even take suggestions on inexpensive websites to order other nice boy bedding sets from.
Thanks!

I thought about getting him a bed but he tosses and turns so much that I worry about him falling out. He likes to sleep with his back up against the bars too.
We used to not let him sleep past 6pm and that was fine but we'll have to make it earlier now.
He fell asleep a little earlier today (1:30pm) since I was a little too noisy taking out the garbage today and woke him. Hopefully he'll sleep earlier now too. I think I'll start waking him up at the same time everyday for a while instead of letting him sleep in until whenever he decides to get up.
He used to be an amazing sleeper until we moved around his first birthday. It's been all downhill from there!

The rare times he stays in his crib for the night, he wakes up around 6:30-7am but when he's in bed with us, he stays asleep until about 8:30-9am. I've been thinking of trying to wake him up a little earlier everyday hoping that would help.
When it gets really late, I take him to his room and we both usually end up falling asleep on his bedroom floor before I can put him in his crib. Falling asleep on the floor with me is no problem, but he refuses to in his crib.
I think like you said, it'll be easier once he has a bigger bed and I can lay with him for a while but I don't know if I can wait that long before being able to spend some alone time with my husband.

I think we screwed up bed time!

DS will be 18 months old in a week and he has never really had a set bedtime. I always just let him fall asleep when he was tired. His routine has been a bath around 7pm, brush his teeth, then let him play quietly and read stories... But we're not able to put him in his crib until he is COMPLETELY asleep or he freaks out! When he's awake during the day though, he sometimes comes to get me to put him in his crib to play in there for a little while. I don't really know what to do to make him sleep earlier. I'd love if he was asleep by 8pm but the past week or so he hasn't fallen asleep until past midnight! I don't want to let him cry it out.
He does everything he can to put off his naps too. He usually doesn't nap until around 2-3... When he does, it's always a couple hours.
He always wakes up in the middle of the night too, this morning it was 5am, crying until I bring him in bed with me. Once he's there, he falls asleep within a minute or two. I'd love if he stayed in his crib though. I tried just laying him back down this morning and rubbing his back and singing quietly but he would scream anytime I layed him back down. I caved and just brought him to bed with me...
Has anyone else been through anything like this? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him to sleep earlier? I watch tv and see people say "Ok, bedtime!", put their kids down, say goodnight and leave the room while their toddler is still awake and they fall asleep on their own. I want that!! Help!

I'm so exhausted!!

Great post!
Let's see... Most of mine have already been mentionned.
-I have to face away from DH when sleeping, I can't stand the thought of anyone's breath near my face.
-When eating things like chips or cookies, I always suck all the flavor off before actually eating the food.
-I don't do dishes!! Food on dishes, especially other people's gross me out soooo bad! When DH and I talked about moving in together years ago, I warned him in advance that he would have to do all dishes because they gross me out too much.
-We don't own a microwave
-I just can't see how mopping a floor gets it clean, I feel like it just pushes dirt around. I never mop, I get on my hands and knees and scrub instead!
-I need the lid of the toilet to be down before I flush. When DH doesn't close it first I freak out and have to leave quickly. I hate public bathrooms that don't have lids on the toilets. I always get all ready, flush with my foot then get the he11 out of there!!
-Apparently, on top of talking in my sleep, I found out I now get up, get the baby and bring him back to bed to fall asleep on me in the middle of the night... I don't even realize I do it but DH says he's always catching me asleep with the baby on my chest. After a while, I just bring him back to his crib...
-My feet need to be covered to sleep. Even if the room is hot and I'm sweating, my feet need to be covered!
-I'm 26 and still don't have my licence... I really want to get it but drivers here scare me too much.
DH has more than me!
-He'll only eat 1 type of meat a day. If we have chicken for lunch, then supper has to be chicken again or vegetarian!
-We HAVE to always go out the same doors and walk on the same side of any poles or pillars.
-He's crazy about the volume on tv being at certain numbers... I refuse to adjust the volume unless he closes his eyes.

I don't think Valentine's day is a fake holiday designed to make money. I think companies take advantage of what should just be a nice holiday to celebrate love to make themselves money, but it doesn't have to be that. I think people get sucked into buying stuff because they feel they have to.
DH and I don't celebrate valentine's day with expensive presents. We just take that day to make a point of spending it together with a nice homemade meal and maybe some movies. I like the holiday. We SHOULD be showing our love everyday but we don't always do that as much as we should. I like having a set day to really make a point of making sure we know we love and appreciate each other!

Yeah, I know, I know... One of THOSE posts... Annoying but I would love the help! There is a store that I liked to shop at that was recently sold to a girl who I used to buy cloth diapers from. The website is still being worked on so it doesn't look like much now. I would love to win one of their e-gift certificates. She has AMAZING deals! Last week I got 3 pairs of baby leg warmers for $20 and when she just sold cloth diapers, I got 3 for $20. Most cloth diapers are over that for 1! Anyway, enough of my rambling... It would really help me out if you could go to
www.fluffybottombabies.com on facebook, like them and then go to the discussion tab and let them know I (Melanie Pellow) sent you. I would really appreciate it!
P.S. If you're ever trying to win something like this, let me know, I'd be happy to vote for you!

Thank you so much in advance!!
