This all sounds very 'made for tv' movie-ish.
She hired you specifically to steal your customer base. Then you left the company and got a job with a new company. Now, she's dug around, found your number at work and spends her days phoning you, faxing you (what exactly is she faxing?), calling your cell phone. You're afraid to confront her because it could all just be a trap to get you in trouble (with who exactly?).
I don't know. It sounds very high school to me. I'd ignore her or confront her. Anything other than those two things makes no sense to me.

Okay, here's a hypothetical.
You're going to Ireland, setting up 'base' in a hotel in Dublin. You'll arrive late on a Wednesday night and leave early the following Wednesday. That gives you Thursday through Tuesday. You want to spend your time seeing some of the tourist attractions, but you'd also like to experience 'real Ireland' at least for a day.
How would you plan that time?

My DH used to do this for a living before we moved to the North. He worked for a company called Good.bye Graffi.ti which is based out of Scarborough.
He'd go into a long, rambling explanation about porous surfaces and how doing it yourself can affect the quality of the structure, but all I know is that you can have a company like that remove it, it won't hurt the integrity of the surface, their chemicals are environmentally safe, yada, yada, yada.
I do know that generally when a city hands out those orders they expect them to be removed, nit just covered over with more paint. DH used to be called to remove jobs that people tried to fix on their own and the city didn't think they were good enough and it cost them more in the end.

Here's a question. How come so many people know what their IQ is?
To my knowledge I've never had a formal IQ test. I mean, I can take a silly internet test and go through life thinking my IQ is 131, but when I have trouble even finding the results of the test, I'm pretty sure I'm no genius. I always did really well in school but I wasn't 'gifted' or anything like that. I'm assuming that my IQ is around the average-ish level, but really I have no clue. Did everyone else get a formal IQ test to know the numbers?

I've come to the conclusion that I'm really on the fence about this one.
Respecting religious beliefs, to me, means respecting EVERYONE'S beliefs not just the ones I happen to agree with.
So while I personally believe that every sexually active woman has the right to birth control, I can't expect that a doctor will feel the same way and I don't know know if I think they should be forced to provide it (I won't use the abortion doctor as an example anymore, because it is a specialized field and no one is forced into it).
With that being said, I also know there are a lot of fuzzy areas and I would be very hesitant to say I support something without thinking of every possible outcome. The rural community with only one doctor example gives me pause because it would be wrong for people not to have access at all.
I can totally see why this is such a hot election topic.

It all depends for me.
My parents and siblings I'd drop in on without notice and vice versa. We'd usually call to make sure they're home before we went there, but we generally don't give each other much warning.
I think it might come from the East coast upbringing, but I grew up with my aunts, uncles, and cousins and my grandparents popping in at any given time.
DH's family is a little different. They would call each other and give notice. He was raised in Ontario.

Okay, maybe I need this explained to me more clearly.
I'm hardly a conservative but I don't really have a problem in the example that AJsLove used either. If it's against someone's moral code/ethics/religious beliefs to do something, but they'll pass it to the person standing next to them to do, why is that a problem?

I will say again, MrsFillier, that I don't have a problem with breastfeeding. I am not uncomfortable with a breast and a baby feeding from it.
I think the people who told you you're indecent or disgusting are entirely wrong.
What I AM saying is that I don't see many people in this thread saying those things. I see some people saying it makes THEM uncomfortable and they've acknowledged that it's their issue because they'd never say anything to a breastfeeding mother.
I'm not sure why you've taken offence to what I posted when I agree with what you're saying. I just also believe that people on the 'other side' have the right to feel the way they do, too

I think in general many women do do that. This is a sweeping generalization, but many men who do something around the house (the dishes or vacuum, for example) expect to be thanked and told they did a great job, whereas women do it more often without the expectation of praise and recognition. I think this has spilled over into the workplace. It's a fact that women are still paid less for doing the same job as a man in many instances. I think it'd because we don't ask for what's fair.

There was a student in a school that I had taught in that was a member of Mensa. She graduated high school at 13 and graduated university at 15. While obviously very bright, she struggled socially.
While I'd like my (potential) children not to struggle academically, I don't think I'd choose super high intelligence if it were a choice because it's so often combined with the lack of social skills which can make life extremely difficult.

I think it's quite possible. It's certainly the case with my parents and what I saw growing up. My dad had all the confidence in the world and he was very much in the frame of mind that you 'fake it until you make it'. My mom, on the other hand, knew how good she was at her job and didn't aspire to moving up.
With DH and I, we're the total opposite. I'm am very confident in my skills and in my ability to learn quickly, so applying for jobs that are above my skill set doesn't really make me hesitate. DH needs to know he can do the job before he'll even entertain the idea of applying. It can be frustrating for me because I know he can do it, but he's just not like that.

I think I'm missing something here. I haven't seen anyone really say that women shouldn't breastfeed. A few people have said that they'd be more comfortable if women covered up, some others said that they themselves preferred to be covered, but I can't see anyone who's saying they shouldn't.
I know how heated this topic can be and I'm of the 'do what works best for you and your baby' group whether that be publicly feeding or covering up, but I don't see why people's backs are up so much because a few people have a different viewpoint.
