No matter what her shoes would be wet for a while, so I figured it's probably better that she have a dry pair to change into!
I've seen water shoes everywhere, and maybe if you're lucky, and there's a Zellers shutting down close to you, you can get an awesome deal!
Which reminds me, I have to go pick up a pair of water shoes for YDD for the splash pads and lake this summer!

They don't seem to be a hot ticket item in the GTA, but are hot in BC! I don't know why exactly, but we had two of them come through our shop, both from BC!

Overall, there comes a point where people have to realize, that all these promises the Quebec gov keeps making have to come from somewhere, and that somewhere is from taxes... Which means that at some point someone is going to say ENOUGH, we are DONE, how about people start paying for their own way in life!
Because lets face it, even though people pay higher taxes in QC, it's still not enough to cover all the "bonus" stuff that the rest of Canadians don't have access to!

Our yard is 'slightly' sloped, and when we were looking at the house, and even when we're in our yard, I don't notice it, untill I go to put out her water table, or our dinky pool, and nope, it's a no go! DH wants to get her and the twins a backyard playground, but that'll involve a WHOLE lotta backyard digging and trenching, and a whole lotta work neither one of us would know where to begin!
- I am now wishing we had gone for a 4 bedroom house, but these twins were an unforseen blessing, so we're going to make do with 2 rooms and 4 girls! I'm thinking of sticking the three youngest together untill ODD either moves out or we finally upgrade to 4 rooms!
I honestly can't think of anything I would change about my house, it's not everyones cup of tea, but we love it!

Honestly, I HATED being an only child growing up, and maybe other parents of singletons did a better job, but I always felt left behind and like I was an after thought! I don't doubt my parents loved me in their own way, but they weren't kid people, now that I'm an adult my mom and I have a complicated relationship, but we get along pretty well!
